Thickly Frozen Garden Pond
Wintery Scene – Oh, Nature is a Wonderous thing!
The thickly frozen garden pond
Yet the trees in the distance have no snow or ice
But from nothing great beauty can spring
Oh, nature is such a wonderous thing!
The birds still sing and eat their fill
The occasional owl goes tooting by
In the grey, starlit winter sky
Oh, natures such a wonderous thing!
Winter looks so magical andserene
With snowflakes and icicles, and even furry looking ice!
Glittering brightly in the winter sunlight
Oh, natures such a wonderous thing!
But very soon it will be spring
With leaves on the trees, and blossom too
And the little spring flowers start poking through
Into the glistening, sunny morning dew
The season changes from winter to spring
As if I had waved a wand,
So that I could share this all with you
Yes, nature is a wonderous thing.
