Daisy and friends
Daisy knows how difficult the world we live in can be at times.
She has thought about things people may think or say to make us feel we are different.
The language they speak not being the same as ours or for having a different accent.
For being a little boy or girl in a place where one is preferred over the other.
For the God or faith that we follow.
For dressing differently to how “society” thinks we should dress
The colour of their skin.
For our physical appearance.
For having a disability.
For believing or not believing in God.
In spite of all these differences at the end of the day, we are all born equal, and are all deserving of care, and to be treated with dignity and respect. And most importantly, loved not just for our similarities but differences to. I hope we can have fun, as we share our hopes, dreams and sorrows, as we try to make the world a better place for us all, in this wonderfully diverse universe we all call home!
